Industrial and Civil:

RFID technology is insensitive to noises caused by industrial equipment and permits long distance reading of metallic objects.
• Assembly Line Management and Quality Control: Traditional passive RFID technology can only identify non-metallic objects at distances of up to 30cm.
Until now, the identification of metal objects at greater distances required the use of expensive active RFID. A more cost effective alternative, UHF/RFID technology, is insensitive to noises caused by industrial equipment and permits long distance reading of metallic objects at a much lower cost.

• Pallet identification and computer-based storage management.
UHF/RFID makes it possible to identify pallets during gate crossing at very low cost. UHF/RFID’s anti-collision feature eliminates the need for ‘smart labels’, or in the case of gate applications, active identifiers. This advance in technology allows multiple pallets to be read simultaneously, and is applicable to metal containers such as gas cylinders. In addition, UHF/RFID makes it possible to identify and monitor the contents of a pallet.


Military:

UHF/RFID’s ability to identify metallic objects and produce strong and reliable labels makes it useful in military applications as well.

• Identification of military vehicle.
An electronic label can be permanently fastened to a vehicle, allowing identification from a distance of 4m.

• Identification of war material.
UHF/RFID allows the identification of metallic and non-metallic materials at distances of 3 meters without direct contact.

• Safety in the military transport.

• Sealing of nuclear and war material, sealing of sites.
